Here's my lore page for each of my FFXIV characters (click the buttons above)! Opal is my main who I proudly ship with G'raha. 💕I've tried to keep these descriptions as spoiler-free as possible but blanket warning for up through post-Shadowbringers just in case!I first started playing the game a little before HW was announced, but I took a many-year break after HW and just returned earlier this year. I'm now in post-Shadowbringers as I work to catch up again!I play on console so all my gposes are 100% vanilla.

Opal Niji
Au Ra, he/him, Machinist + BardMy main, Opal, is a trans guy who only came out as such during the events of Stormblood. He still uses a female model in-game, but uses exclusively he/him pronouns.Opal is originally from Sui-no-Sato, where he grew up feeling cramped and isolated in such a small settlement. He left once he was old enough to go out on his own, despite scorn from the others that lived there, first settling in Kugane for a short time before moving to Gridania when ARR begins.During the Crystal Tower quests, Opal and G'raha had a brief 'fling' (just having fun together, nothing serious). Opal didn't develop real feelings for him yet, but was still hit especially hard with the end of that questline at the loss of him as a friend.During Heavensward, Opal had a brief crush on Aymeric, but nothing ever came of it, too focused on other priorities including helping his best friend Jespur grieve a particularly hard-hitting loss.Early in Stormblood, Opal and Lyse grow closer, eventually starting to date. On the night after the Naadam, Opal confesses to Lyse that he's trans and wants to begin transitioning, but that he's worried she may not still like him after this. She reassures him she would, and the two stay together, with Opal cutting his hair and beginning to bind his chest.However, after the events of Stormblood, Lyse finds herself extremely busy with all her new responsibilities, and the two start to drift apart a bit, especially once Opal is swept away into the plot of Shadowbringers. Here he quickly connects with the Crystal Exarch, and a romance slowly blossoms over the expansion's events.

Cinna Wintyr
Miqo'te, he/him, BardCinna grew up in Limsa Lominsa to a single father after his mother passed when he was a toddler. His father works making boats, and Cinna quickly grew a love for the sea before becoming a sailor on merchant ships for a time. Eventually he started to crave something more meaningful in life and became an adventurer, leading into the game's story from there when he made his way to Gridania for the archer's guild.I'm currently replaying Heavensward with him, so that's as far as his story goes quite yet! He doesn't have any love interests (...yet?), but he's pansexual. He kind of thinks Y'shtola is cute, but his feelings aren't deep enough to bother acting upon.

Stan Loona
Hrothgar, he/him, DragoonNow mostly retired from play, Stan was my guy for replaying ARR after over ten years to refresh on the story.Stan has a huge heart and is very gentle overall. He loves his friends and doesn't like resorting to violence, but won't hesitate to protect others in whatever way necessary. He's a dragoon and(but?) loves wearing colorful clothing.He's also aro-ace and doesn't have any romances/love interests, but he's close friends with Minfilia, Yda, and Y'shtola in particular.
